Privacy Policy

This policy covers infinitymetalworks.ca, run by Infinity Metalworks Ltd., Hwy 35, Weyburn No. 67, SK, Weyburn, Saskatchewan S4H 2L1. When it says “we”, it means Infinity Metalworks.

What we collect

When you send a quote request, the form asks for your name, phone number and email, the kind of project and the details you want to tell us. We use that to reply, quote the job and do the work. If you call or email the shop instead, we keep that conversation for the same reason.

Like every website, the server that sends you these pages sees your IP address and the page you asked for. The quote form counts requests from each IP address in the server's memory to stop the same person sending it over and over. That count is never saved and is gone when the server restarts. If someone goes over the limit, their IP address is noted in our hosting provider's logs.

Where your quote request goes

The form doesn't save your request in a database. It is sent as an email to the shop through Resend, an email delivery service. If that email can't be sent, the request is written to our hosting provider's logs instead so it isn't lost, and you are asked to call the shop.

Error reporting

When a page on this site breaks, our error reporting service, Sentry, receives a report with the page address, your browser and device type and what went wrong, so the problem can be fixed. Only when something breaks, Sentry also keeps a masked replay of how the page behaved just before. In that replay every word on the page and everything you type is hidden and images are blocked, so it shows the layout and clicks and not what you read or wrote. Sentry keeps these reports for as long as its service keeps them, then deletes them.

The Google map

Our contact page can show a Google map of the shop. It only loads if you allow it in the cookie notice or press “Show map”. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and the page you are on, and sets its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Who handles it

Propel Digital Solutions builds and runs this website for us. The site is hosted by Vercel, quote emails go through Resend and error reports go to Sentry. All three store data on servers in the United States, so this information is processed outside Canada and is subject to the laws there. We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us only as long as we need it to quote and do your work and to keep the business records the law asks for. After that it is deleted.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, which remembers your choice in the cookie notice. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The cookie policy lists everything the site stores in your browser.

Your choices and questions

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For any question about privacy, or to make a request, email infinitymetalworksltd@gmail.com or call 306-842-9353. If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top.
