Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small piece of text a website keeps in your browser. Websites can also keep information in your browser's storage for the length of a visit. This page lists everything infinitymetalworks.ca keeps there.

What the site stores

• cookie_consent is a cookie set by this site when you answer the cookie notice. It remembers whether you allowed the map and the date you chose, so the notice doesn't come back on every page. It lasts 12 months.
• im-highmark-dismissed is kept in your browser's session storage when you close the Highmark bar at the top of the page, so it stays closed while you look around. It is cleared when you close the tab.
• sentryReplaySession is kept in session storage by Sentry, our error reporting service, for the length of your visit. It links the pages of one visit together if something breaks, so the problem can be traced. It is cleared when you close the tab.

These are needed for the site to work the way it should, so they can't be switched off from the cookie notice.

The Google map, only if you allow it

The contact page can show a Google map of the shop. Google sets its own cookies when the map loads, as described in Google's privacy policy. The map stays off until you choose “Allow the map” in the cookie notice or press “Show map” on the contact page. Until then your browser doesn't contact Google from this site.

What the site doesn't use

The site has no analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers or chat widgets. Our fonts are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts.

Your choices

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Turning the map off reloads the page so it is gone. You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. The site still works if you do, and the notice will appear again.
